Hello, I’m Phoebe Parke – an English and German speaking journalist with a nose for a good story (or so I’m told.)

Monday to Friday I work as an Associate Producer and Writer at CNN International, here I write stories for the website about a range of different topics from the world’s biggest concentrated solar plant to the best fashion bloggers in Dubai, and run social media campaigns, you can see everything I’ve written for CNN and other online publications in my portfolio.

I’ve been writing online since 2011 (that’s what LinkedIn says anyway) and over those five years I’ve written for The Daily Telegraph, Huffington PostFlavour MagazineDivaScribe MagazinePappzd MagazineGRM DailyPride MagazineFAB MagazineBlack Beauty and Hair MagazineMTV Wrap UpSB.TV and Pause Magazine.

On Monday nights from 7pm I host a specialist radio show called The Grimary School, where I play the best old and new Grime music made in the UK and tell the stories behind the artists and their music. You can listen to all past episodes on Mixcloud. On Saturdays I write and read the news from 12 – 2pm on the same station, Wandsworth Radio.

Alongside this work in journalism I produce content for my lifestyle blog where I tell my story; that means topics such as bad dates, product reviews and career advice come up on a weekly basis.

I’ve been blogging since 2012, and in 2015 I decided to do something to help the blogging community. So I created Bloggers of Colour, an online community that shares work from bloggers and writers of colour and supports their work. You can find out more about what we do on our website and find out the full story behind why I started it in this blog post.

Hopefully you’ve made it to the bottom of this page, and so thank you for reading. If you have any questions, or would like a copy of my media kit, feel free to drop me a line: phoebe.parke@gmail.com.
